The air we breathe is made up of 80% nitrogen. Liquid nitrogen is nitrogen that has been cooled to its boiling point—about -196°C (-320°F)—at which point it becomes a liquid. It’s used in a variety of fields, including cryogenics, medicine, scientific research, and even in culinary applications like making ice cream or creating dramatic fog effects.

We provide only tested and safe services! • Non-Toxic & Odorless – Liquid nitrogen is completely non-toxic and has no smell. It is simply nitrogen in its liquid state, the same gas that makes up about 78% of the air we breathe. • Natural Fog Effect – When liquid nitrogen comes into contact with water or humid air, it creates a dense white fog. This is just water vapor, similar to the mist you see on a cold morning. It’s completely safe to breathe. • Fast Evaporation – Liquid nitrogen quickly turns back into gas and disappears into the air. Small spills evaporate almost instantly, leaving no harmful residue. • Frozen Objects Are Safe to Touch – Items frozen with liquid nitrogen, like a flower or a ball, reach temperatures similar to ice. Once removed, they can be handled safely, just like anything from a freezer. • Do Not Submerge Hands – The only real danger comes from direct and prolonged contact. Never put your hands into liquid nitrogen, as it can cause frostbite. However, momentary contact (like dipping a finger briefly and pulling it out) often results in no harm due to the Leidenfrost effect, where a protective vapor layer forms. • Well-Ventilated Areas Only – Since liquid nitrogen expands rapidly into gas, it must be used in an open or well-ventilated space to prevent oxygen depletion.

Yes, liquid nitrogen ice cream is completely safe to eat. Here’s why: • Liquid Nitrogen Evaporates Completely – By the time the ice cream is ready to eat, all the liquid nitrogen has turned into gas and disappeared. The final product is just regular frozen ice cream. • No Toxic Chemicals – Liquid nitrogen is odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic. It is the same nitrogen that makes up about 78% of the air we breathe. We provide only tested and safe services!
