Can you break metal frozen in liquid nitrogen?

Liquid nitrogen is extremely cold (–196°C) and can make flowers, toys, or rubber brittle.

But metal behaves differently: it is strong, has a dense crystalline structure, and strong atomic bonds, so even at this very low temperature most metals remain solid and do not break.

Only very thin or fragile pieces might shatter, but ordinary objects (spoons, bolts, wires) won’t crack.

Conclusion: Liquid nitrogen can make many things brittle and spectacular, but metal almost never breaks.
